Waiver and Agreement to Release and Hold Harmless for All Riders As an entrant in the Raúl Juliá Bicycle Challenge to End Hunger, I hereby affirm, acknowledge and agree as follows: 1) to assume all responsibility for any and all damages to, or theft of, my personal property or any bodily injury that may occur to me arising or resulting from, or incident of, my participation in the Raúl Juliá Bicycle Challenge to End Hunger; 2) to release and forever hold the following harmless for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators from all claims, damages, rights of action, present or future, whether the same by known, anticipated or unanticipated, arising or resulting from, or incident to, my participation in the Raúl Juliá Bicycle Challenge to End Hunger: The City of Philadelphia, Lower Perkioma Park, Valley Forge National Historical Park, Schuykill Valley Bike Trail, cities and towns along the route, The Hunger Project, any and all sponsors and volunteers and their respective trustees, directors, employees, and agents; 3) that I am aware of the physical demands and hazards of participating in a distance cycling event and that I am properly trained and physically fit, and that I will wear all necessary safety gear. In past years, each participant Raul Julia Bicycle Challenge to End Hunger raised a minimum of $500 for the benefit of the Hunger Project. This year we ask that each rider choose a target that reflects a personal committment to unleashing the human spirit by ending hunger. Know that you inspire others by riding and by your leadership. Contributions are due Nov. 1, 2005. Please make these checks out to Raul Julia Bike Challenge.
